NS-X stands for “New”, “Sportscar” “eXperimental”.
This is an exemplary version of the Honda NSX. Immaculate interior, exterior, and mechanically. Only 28,000 miles on the odometer, and drives like a new car. Auto transmission shifts very smoothly, and engine has a generous power delivery until VTEC opens up and it flies!
The NSX became the world’s first mass-produced car to feature an all-aluminium body. Designed by Honda in 1990 with help from professional Formula One driver Ayrton Senna, the NSX was Honda’s first attempt to enter the supercar market. Honda’s entry was unique due to the fact that it coupled an aggressive supercar bodystyle with reliability. The motor is a 3.0L V6 C30A engine, which featured Honda’s VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control) system. The NSX was praised for it’s balance, and ease of use, and was able to hold it’s own on the track against more powerful cars. It remained in production until 2005 with very few changes.
